Rail Gourmet, a premier provider of catering and onboard services to the British Railway Industry, is seeking an On Board Host for TransPennine Express at Liverpool Lime Street Station.

You will perform in-seat trolley service, assist passengers, and work across rotational shifts with training provided. The role includes commission and travel benefits; full training; opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred in retail, leisure, hospitality.
• Willing to work long hours and weekend shifts.
• Full training provided on role responsibilities.

Job description

On-Board Host for TransPennine Express (TPE) at Liverpool Lime Street Station.

Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour plus commission
Hours: Full Time (39 hours).
Shifts: Rotational shifts between 6am and 9pm, including some weekends.

• Due to some responsibilities within the Onboard Host role, applicants will need to be18 years of age or overto perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
  
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including long hours and varying shifts.

Ideally you will have at least 2 years working experience gained in a Customer Facing role within the Retail Leisure & Hospitality Industry.
Full Training will be provided.

AS AN ON BOARD HOST YOU’LL:

• Provide 'at seat trolley service' on TPE trains, ensuring outstanding customer service, managing stock, and handling transactions.
• Travel on assigned trains, assisting passengers, achieving sales targets independently, and meeting contractual goals.
• Accurately account for stock and transactions, adhere to hygiene and safety standards, and support management initiatives.
