OIC Engineer - Outside IR35 - 300/day - 6-Month Contract (Likely to Extend)

Location: Remote (UK-based contractor supporting a US client)
Start Date: 22nd December 2025

We're seeking an experienced OIC Integration Engineer to join a 6-month project for a US-based client. This role is outside IR35, offering 300 per day, and is highly likely to extend beyond the initial term.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, compliant system integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Develop architectural diagrams and integration processes following best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Build reusable, efficient code and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Implement security measures and data protection strategies.
• Design and manage data storage solutions.
• Provide accurate effort estimates and assist with task breakdowns.
• Maintain detailed documentation, including code comments and technical diagrams.
• Support business users with OIC dashboards, error log checks, and payload troubleshooting.
• Contribute to coding standards and best practices within the team.

Essential Skills

• OIC VBCS platform expertise
• Advanced proficiency in Java and JavaScript
• Strong experience with EDI integrations on OIC (mandatory)
• Knowledge of TRADACOM, EDIFACT, X12 standards
