A leading energy provider in the UK is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee crucial OHL projects ensuring safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum level 4 qualification in an engineering discipline and experience as a Site Supervisor. You will manage teams and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, while also overseeing pre-construction activities. The ideal candidate would be 45 minutes away from North Wales, Chesire or Midlands.
In the project construction phase you’ll be National Grid’s Site Supervisor ensuring delivery of OHL construction-based projects for new build electricity transmission towers or refurbishment works. As a single point of contact you’ll manage site works in full compliance with approved national grid procedures and CDM regulations, this includes the supervision of resources for National Grid teams and sub-contractors ensuring robust health and safety management processes are maintained. Promote best practice communicating through weekly meetings, toolbox talks and site briefings.
At times there will be a requirement to work away from home during the week within your region where overnight and mobility allowances will be paid. You’ll also get to oversee pre-construction phase of projects such as, coordinating meetings, site surveys, pre works access and procurement for equipment and materials.
