Achieving the safe and efficient completion of multi-million pound OHL (Overhead Lines) projects through effective planning and people management.
The ideal candidate would be 45 minutes away from Pelham, Bramford or Fleet.
In the project construction phase you'll be National Grid's Site Supervisor ensuring delivery of OHL construction-based projects for new build electricity transmission towers or refurbishment works. As a single point of contact you'll manage site works in full compliance with approved national grid procedures and CDM regulations, this includes the supervision of resources for National Grid teams and sub-contractors ensuring robust health and safety management processes are maintained. Promote best practice communicating through weekly meetings, toolbox talks and site briefings.
At times there will be a requirement to work away from home during the week within your region where overnight and mobility allowances will be paid. You'll also get to oversee pre-construction phase of projects such as, coordinating meetings, site surveys, pre works access and procurement for equipment and materials.
