Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and Children's Homes Regulations.
Lead and inspire a team to provide high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each child's needs.
Develop and implement care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
Manage budgets, staffing, and resources to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
Build strong relationships with external agencies, local authorities, and stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement to achieve or maintain a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating.
Act as a positive role model, fostering trust and supporting young people's growth.
About You
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent, or willingness to work towards).
At least 3 years' experience in a children's residential setting, with 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, The Children Act 1989, and safeguarding practices.
Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility for on-call duties.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Previous experience as a Registered Manager.
Proven success in achieving high Ofsted ratings.
