We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team in Swadlincote, supporting young people with complex needs in a 2-bed children s residential home. This is a fantastic career development opportunity, with the expectation of progressing into a dual-registered management role as we expand with a second home (OFSTED registration visit scheduled for 22nd August).
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations.
Lead, motivate, and mentor the care team to deliver outstanding support for young people.
Act as a role model, providing consistent, nurturing care to children with emotional and behavioural needs.
Support care planning, safeguarding, and positive behaviour management.
Step up in the absence of the Registered Manager, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality care delivery.
Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Experience working with children and young people in a residential care setting.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Children s Homes Regulations.
Leadership experience (as a Team Leader, Senior, or Deputy) desirable.
Ambition to progress into dual registration with support from the organisation.
£40,496 base salary + £60 per sleep-in.
