A renowned engineering consultancy in the UK is seeking an Offshore Wind Engineering Consultant to lead and manage offshore wind consultancy projects. The role requires strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, alongside considerable experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly offshore wind. Our UK based teams are structured across a combination of Sectors and Service Lines: Energy Transition and Transmission and Distribution have a sector focus while Advisory and Asset Management provide sector agnostic service across the lifecycle of our projects. Technology and Digital transformation offer opportunities for significant growth in these sector agnostic areas (supported by the technical engineering expertise across Energy Transmission and Transmission and Distribution).
The Offshore Wind Engineering Consultant is a crucial role within the Energy business with a clear focus on driving success across offshore wind projects and growth across the business in either new or existing areas. The role will be varied and will require someone who is prepared to be engaged at all levels and have the flexibility and ability to be an ambassador for the offshore wind team whilst also supporting the development and delivery of the pipeline.This role requires an understanding of offshore wind, its components and associated technology, a consultancy and engineering mindset, strong leadership and collaboration skills, and the ability to manage small projects and stakeholders. The focus of the role will be on technical due diligence and technical advisory, collaborating with internal teams.
