Job summary

Gattaca in Manchester seeks an experienced Project Delivery professional to manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale engineering projects. The role requires coordinating engineering, manufacturing, testing and offshore support while driving milestones, risk management and budget adherence.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and contribute to tender submissions with a focus on safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within an engineering, offshore, energy, manufacturing or related technical environment.
• Experience managing complex equipment projects including modification, testing, mobilisation and demobilisation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical handling equipment and associated project delivery requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, develop project plans and coordinate execution activities.
• Demonstrated leadership with teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with multi-priority delivery ability.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple medium and large-scale projects to meet contractual, technical, commercial and operating objectives.
• Develop project plans, resources, schedules and delivery timelines while proactively managing risks and milestones.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, equipment mobilisation, testing, logistics and offshore support to ensure seamless execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage budgets, invoicing schedules, forecasting and change control processes.
• Escalate risks commercially, operationally or project-wise when appropriate.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and offshore personnel; support client meetings and tender submissions.
