A regional council in Oxford is seeking a support officer to provide systems support, perform data collection, and conduct complex data analysis tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of GIS systems and experience in an IT environment. This role offers flexible working options and a variety of employee benefits, including 30 days of annual leave and a contributory pension scheme. This position is a six-month secondment with good opportunities for professional development.

You will be providing systems support and completing data collection as well as completing complex data analysis tasks. You will play a vital role in delivering a comprehensive support service alongside our internal staff, as well as different external suppliers and agencies. This is a six month secondment.
Ideally you will have a working knowledge of GIS Systems. You’ll have worked within an IT setting previously and will thrive on working with customers to solve issues. You will work to create and discover new efficiencies when it comes to problem solving.
