Job summary

Red Recruitment is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our client in Banbury on a temporary-to-permanent basis. You will support patients along their healthcare journey, handle enquiries, arrange appointments and provide clear information and reassurance over the telephone. This role is office-based in Banbury with an immediate start.

You do not need clinical experience. The package includes £12.71 per hour, Monday to Friday, 9am–5.30pm, and the chance to progress within a compassionate,

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, contact centres or patient-facing roles.
• Excellent telephone and communication skills.
• Empathetic approach when dealing with patients.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Confidence using computer systems and updating records.
• Ability to stay calm and professional with anxious patients.

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound and outbound calls with patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Supporting patients with appointment bookings, changes, referrals and general enquiries.
• Providing clear information about appointments, treatment and aftercare.
• Helping patients understand next steps in their care and offering reassurance.
• Responding to queries about clinics and patient services.
• Liaising with clinical and administrative teams when further support is required.
• Keeping patient information and records accurate and up to date.
• Following processes and maintaining patient confidentiality.
