Level of Experience: Trainee Occupational Hygiene Consultant through to Lead Occupational Hygiene Consultant

Profile: Our client is a rapidly expanding Environmental Consultancy, providing Occupational health and safety services to a mixed range of sites, the ideal candidate will hold experience with workplace air monitoring, noise assessments and local exhaust ventilation testing. They are now looking to recruit a hard working and keen Occupational Hygiene Consultant based in the Sheffield area.

Experience & Qualifications

• Will ideally hold extensive experience within an Occupational Hygiene role.
• Will be a qualified Occupational Hygienist, holding the BIOH / IOA or equivalent qualification.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using Microsoft office.

The Role

• Undertaking Occupational Hygiene duties such as workplace assessments, air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fume, dust and hand‑arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation examination and testing, and indoor air quality.
• Undertaking emissions testing.
• Carrying out site assessments.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant health and safety legislations and MCERTS standards.
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
