Overview

Five Education is currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner to work on a casual basis in a busy nursery in Frome. The location is easily reachable by car and public transport. The setting boasts fantastic outdoor space and a supportive staff team. The children attending the nursery benefit from a dedicated team who work hard to ensure each day is full of exploring, having fun and lots of learning.

As a temporary worker through Five Education, you will be able to choose the days you want to work. We do ask for a minimum commitment of 2 days a week. The day is 8:30-17:30, there is the potential to earn if you are able to work 5 days a week.

Responsibilities and duties
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children within the nursery
  • Make sure all children attending the nursery are supported and cared for and that they are able to access learning experiences and activities
  • Work collaboratively with other nursery staff to ensure that the day-to-day management of the nursery is clean, tidy and safe
  • Ensure children can meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
Essential Criteria
  • Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)
  • Two recent references, covering the last 2 years
  • Relevant DBS/Police checks, or willing to obtain

Your hourly rate of pay would be £13.38 but with a potential to earn more based on level of experience. Including holiday pay

Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employers NI. We are also proud to be an accredited Living Wage employer. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo checks including reference checks, TRA checks and will need to have a DBS; there will also be a face-to-face interview.
