Job summary

An educational organization in Hull is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children's development and foster a positive learning environment. Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 2 for teaching assistants and excellent communication skills. Your role will involve engaging with children, working closely with families, and contributing to a team dedicated to early years education. This is a fixed-term role, part-time with 32.5 hours per week.

Qualifications and Experience
  • NVQ 2 for teaching assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills relevant to role
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Professional manner with excellent communication skills
  • Someone with a kind heart, a patient manner, and a positive outlook
  • A team player with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • A creative thinker who is always coming up with new ways to engage and inspire
  • Someone who values the importance of holistic development including a child's mind, body, and spirit
  • A clear communicator, who can work closely with colleagues and parents alike
  • Hold a relevant Early Years qualification Level 2 minimum
