Job summary

Milestones Day Nursery in Maidstone is seeking a passionate Room Leader to guide a dedicated room team, delivering high-quality care and learning in line with EYFS. You will create a welcoming environment for children and families while upholding safeguarding, care, and education standards.

The role requires prior early years experience and a Level 3 EYFS qualification. You will mentor staff, plan engaging activities, monitor progress, and partner with parents, ensuring the nursery maintains

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) recognised in the UK.
• Previous experience in an early years setting.
• Experience leading or supervising a nursery room is desirable.
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of practitioners.

About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a room team to deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
