Job summary

Flow Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to oversee daily operations in a busy early years setting. You will lead a team, mentor staff and ensure optimal care, learning and development for children.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Experience working within an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS.
• Passion for delivering outstanding care and learning experiences.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of your allocated room to maintain high standards of care, learning and development.
• Lead by example, support and mentor colleagues, and create a nurturing environment for children to thrive.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed and play a role in staff training and performance development.
