Job summary

Inspire, Lead and Make a Difference Every Day is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to manage the day-to-day running of an allocated room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning and development are maintained. You will lead by example, support and mentor colleagues, and create a nurturing environment where children feel happy, safe and inspired to reach their full potential.

Please note: the successful applicant will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent).
• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS.
• Passion for delivering outstanding care and learning experiences.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the allocated room to maintain high care/learning standards.
• Lead by example, support and mentor colleagues in a nurturing environment.
• Ensure children's happiness, safety and development in line with EYFS guidance.
