Job summary

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming nursery in Urmston to recruit a Nursery Practitioner to join their team. The role involves providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children, supporting learning and development through age-appropriate activities.

Successful candidates will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and have a patient, approachable nature, with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
• Previous nursery/early years experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.
• Support children's learning and development through age-appropriate activities.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities based on children's interests.
• Observe and record children's progress and contribute to learning journeys.

Nursery Practitioner/Senior Nursery Practitioner

Location: Urmston, Manchester

Salary: Up to £13.75 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications

Hours: Full-time, 40hr per week

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop, learn and thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.

The Role

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
• Supporting children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children’s interests and development
• Observing and recording children’s progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys
• Ensuring children’s health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all timesSupporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team
• Following the nursery’s policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
• Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported

A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is required.

Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting would be beneficial.
