Job summary

Nala Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Practitioner in Brentwood to join a welcoming nursery team. You will provide high-quality care and education, supporting development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

The role requires a caring, patient, and team-oriented individual with a Level 2/3 Early Years qualification and nursery experience. Start date ASAP, with full-time or part-time hours available.

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification Level 2 or 3 is required.
• Experience in nursery/early years setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.
• Support children's learning through age-appropriate activities.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Assist with planning and delivery of engaging activities based on children's interests.
• Observe and record children's progress and contribute to learning journeys.

Nursery Practitioner

Location: Brentwood

Salary: Up to £14.93 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Hours: Full-time and Part-time roles available

Contract: Permanent

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop, learn and thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
• Supporting children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children’s interests and development
• Observing and recording children’s progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys
• Ensuring children’s health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times
• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team
• Following the nursery’s policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
• Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported

About You

• Reliable, responsible and committed to providing high-quality care
• Able to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Confident in creating fun and engaging learning experiences

A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is required.

Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting would be beneficial.
