Job summary

Nala Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for a welcoming nursery in Birmingham. You will help provide high-quality care and early years education in a safe, engaging environment for young children. The role requires caring, patient individuals with good teamwork and communication.

Level 2/3 in Early Years is desirable; prior nursery experience is beneficial, with opportunities for development and progression. This is a full-time permanent post.

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification Level 2 or 3 desirable/required depending on role.

Nursery Practitioner

Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham

Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Hours: Full-time (40hr per week)

Contract: Permanent

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop, learn and thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
• Supporting children's learning and development through age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children's interests and development
• Observing and recording children's progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys
• Ensuring children's health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times
• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team
• Following the nursery's policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
• Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported

A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is desirable/required depending on the role.

Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting would be beneficial.
