Nala Recruitment are seeking a Nursery Practitioner for a welcoming Chesterfield nursery. You will provide high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

We look for a caring, patient team player with good communication. Relevant Early Years qualification is desirable; start ASAP, with full-time or part-time hours available and a competitive hourly rate up to £13.30 depending on qualifications and experience.

Nursery Practitioner

Location: Chesterfield, Clowne

Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Hours: Full-time and part-time available

Contract: Permanent

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
• Supporting children's learning and development through age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children's interests and development
• Observing and recording children's progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys
• Ensuring children's health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times
• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team
• Following the nursery's policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
• Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• A positive team player with good communication skills
• Reliable, responsible and committed to providing high-quality care
• Able to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Confident in creating fun and engaging learning experiences

A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is desirable/required depending on the role.

Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting would be beneficial.
