Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Strong experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Proven stability and commitment in previous positions.
• Good understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
• Experience planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and hands-on approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel confident and supported.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to children's interests and developmental needs.
• Support children's confidence, independence, communication and social development.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress.
• Use the nursery's age-specific rooms and resources to support learning through play.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
• Work closely with colleagues to maintain consistently high standards.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies.

Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or Level 3

Up to £28,000 per Year | Full-Time | All-Year-Round Position

A wonderful opportunity has become available for an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join an award-winning nursery group, offering fantastic facilities, a supportive team and an environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover and thrive.

The nursery features bright, well-equipped, age-specific rooms, with carefully selected resources to support children through each stage of their development. Outside, a beautiful garden provides plenty of opportunities for outdoor learning, including a vegetable patch where children can get involved in planting, growing and discovering the natural world.

We're looking for a confident and dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Practitioner with a strong track record in Early Years and a history of stability and commitment in previous roles. This position would suit someone looking for a long-term opportunity where they can become a valued part of the team and continue developing their career.

What We're Looking For

• A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential
• Strong experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• A proven track record in Early Years, demonstrating stability and commitment in previous positions
• Good understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development
• Experience planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
