Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a caring Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner in the UK. The role offers a Level 2 salary of £29,100 or Level 3 salary of £29,800 per annum for 40 hours per week. You will support learning through play in a warm setting, following EYFS guidelines.

The successful candidate will plan activities, monitor progress and work closely with colleagues to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children.

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential.
• Experience in a nursery or Early Years setting desirable.
• Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and child development.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with EYFS.
• Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
• Encourage confidence, independence and curiosity through play.
• Utilise spacious indoor areas and the large garden to support learning.
• Observe and record children’s progress and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety standards.

Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or Level 3

Level 2: £29,100 | Level 3: £29,800 per Annum | 40 Hours per Week

We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who enjoys creating meaningful learning experiences and helping children feel happy, safe and supported.

This welcoming Early Years setting offers plenty of space for children to learn through play, develop new skills and enjoy exciting experiences every day.

With engaging indoor environments and a large garden, children have wonderful opportunities to explore, get creative and enjoy the outdoors. The nursery encourages a child-led approach, allowing children to follow their interests while supporting their individual learning and development.

What We're Looking For

• A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential
• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development
• A passion for child-led learning and play-based activities
• Confidence supporting children's individual learning and developmental needs
• A creative, enthusiastic and hands-on approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, patient and nurturing attitude
