Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a caring Nursery Practitioner at Level 2 or Level 3 in Amersham. You will deliver high-quality early years education in line with EYFS, plan engaging activities, observe progress and support children’s independence and confidence.

Qualifications

• Full Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• Experience in nursery or EY setting is preferred.
• Good understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
• Ability to plan and support engaging play-based activities.

Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or Level 3

Level 2: £28,900 | Level 3: £29,900 per Year | 40 Hours per Week

Refurbished to a high standard, the nursery offers spacious rooms filled with natural resources, creating a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore and develop their confidence.

Outside, a large, well‑equipped garden features mud kitchens, play areas and plenty of space for children to be active, discover new interests and enjoy learning outdoors.

We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who enjoys creating meaningful learning experiences and wants to be part of a supportive Early Years team.

What We're Looking For

• A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential
• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development
• Confidence planning and supporting engaging, play-based activities
• A passion for encouraging children's independence, confidence and curiosity
• Ability to support observations, assessments and children's developmental progress
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A warm, nurturing and enthusiastic approach

Supporting Children's Learning and Development

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS
