Qualifications

  • Qualified nursery practitioner with Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Early Years (or equivalent).
  • Experience in promoting high standards in childcare settings.
  • Ability to mentor students and unqualified staff.

Nursery Practitioner Permanent

• 40 Hours per week Full-Time | Part Time| Monday to Friday
• Location: Brislington Bristol
• Salary: Up to £27,394 (Dependent on Experience)

We’re working with a fantastic Nursery in the Brislington Bristol area that’s on the lookout for a qualified and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join their warm, welcoming, and supportive team.

What will Nursery Practitioner be doing
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
  • Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children.
  • Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Prepare and support children’s activities.
  • In the absence of the Team/Room Leader maintain effective day-to-day management of the environment.
  • Contribute to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Support and mentor students and un-qualified staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice.
Qualifications
  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Early Years (or equivalent).

  • Competitive pay: £27,394 per annum (DOE).
  • Flexible working with the option to work: 40 hours across 5 days; 40 hours across 4 days; 30 hours over 3 days; or split shifts/part-time arrangements.
