Job description

Banana Moon Franchise is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead the growth and development of our flagship nursery in Hatton. This is an exciting time for Banana Moon, as we are about to undertake a renovation and reinvestment project throughout the nursery.

As Nursery Manager, attention to detail is essential to ensure the highest standards of quality and care for the children. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, overseeing the implementation of our bespoke, play-based curriculum, and supporting the welfare of staff through our wellbeing pledge. You will be supported by Franchise Officers who will guide you in maintaining standards and providing opportunities for career growth.

The ideal candidate will have the skills to promote a successful and profitable business, engage with the local community, and market the nursery to achieve maximum occupancy while delivering excellent customer care. Requirements

1. Minimum of a Level three qualification approved by the Department of Education
2. At least two years of current Nursery Manager experience
3. Experience in leading quality practice
4. A clear enhanced DBS certificate
5. Thorough knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage 2024 (EYFS)
6. Proven track record with regulatory bodies
7. Paediatric first aid certificate (preferred but not essential)
8. Previous experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead
