About Us:

We have an exciting new nursery opening dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. Our mission is to foster a love of learning through play, creativity, and high-quality early years education. As we open our doors, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Role Overview:

As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and success of the nursery. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain outstanding levels of childcare, and create a safe and engaging environment for both children and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of care and education.
• Recruit, train, and develop a team of dedicated early years professionals.
• Implement and maintain policies and procedures in line with Ofsted and EYFS requirements.
• Create and maintain a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for children to learn and thrive.
• Develop strong relationships with parents, staff, and external agencies to support children's development.
• Manage nursery finances, budgets, and occupancy levels to ensure business sustainability.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of provision, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Maintain health & safety, safeguarding, and child protection standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Level 5 qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education (or above preferred).
• Proven experience in a nursery management or senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS framework, Ofsted regulations, and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education.
• Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
• Experience in budget management and nursery administration is desirable.
