Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a large nursery in Petersfield, Hampshire. You will lead staff and ensure outstanding EYFS delivery in line with Ofsted expectations and our Reggio Emilia ethos.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £50k depending on experience and qualifications. Onsite parking and other benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years’ in a management or team-leading role.
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices.
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets.
• Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a large nursery.
• Lead and support staff to meet high standards and Ofsted requirements.
• Ensure EYFS compliance, safeguarding, and health & safety practices.
• Manage occupancy, budgets and compliance while maintaining outstanding outcomes.

About our Clients

Our clients beautiful countryside Nursery in Petersfield, is now seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the day to day operations of this large and busy Nursery. You will need to be experienced in running a large setting, have taken a nursery through an Ofsted Inspection at Good or Outstanding standards, have experience in working with our ethos - Reggio Emilia. A 40 hr week, Monday to Friday, with salary up to £50k depending on experience and qualifications.
