Overview

Nursery Manager – Uxbridge (Full-time, Permanent)

Salary: £29k–£32k + Benefits (incl. free parking)

Hours: 40 hours per week between 7:30am–6:30pm

VD Recruitment has partnered with a leading group of Independent Montessori Nurseries in West London. We are looking for a Nursery Manager for their Preschool Setting in Uxbridge. This opportunity will give you the chance to work in a small new nursery setting registered for 50 children aged between 2–5 years, implement ideas throughout the nursery and work closely with the management team.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the smooth running of the nursery
• Leading the staff team to deliver high quality practice within the nursery
• Ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care and development for children placed in the Day Nursery
• Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
• Responsible for any tasks delegated by the Director
• To give support to other personnel within the Nursery
• To adhere, promote & comply with legislation & compliance regulations

Qualifications & Skills

• Childcare qualification to Level 3 or above from a recognised awarding body
• Experience in a senior role
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS
• Training in Child Protection and Safeguarding Children
• Training in Behaviour Management
• Paediatric First Aid certificate
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS certificate and references
