Tiny Tots Nursery School in Basingstoke is hiring a Nursery Chef/Cook to prepare nutritious, freshly made meals for children, while upholding top safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.

You will work full time, 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday, with an hourly rate up to £13.91 depending on qualification and experience. Benefits include wellness day, enhanced holidays, and other family-friendly support.

How you’ll spend your time here

As a Nursery Chef/Cook, you’ll prepare nutritious, freshly made meals whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene in the nursery kitchen at all times. Your flexibility and reliability will ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.

• Catering for children with specific dietary needs
• Working to an extremelyhigh level when it comes to the relevantFood and Hygiene,Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety, Health and Safety and Ofsted guidelines and regulations
• Ensuring thatall children have rich stimulating eating experiences
• Maintaining stock levels and ensuring stock rotation
• Following COSHH and other relevant guidelines

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• Level 2 Food and Hygiene
• Experience in a commercial kitchen as an assistant cook/chef or something very similar
• Knowledge ofHealth and Safety regulations and COSHH
