A Government Health Department is seeking a Nurse Manager for Quality and Patient Safety. The role involves leading risk management and accreditation processes, providing high-level advice to Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Services, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should be registered nurses with substantial experience in quality systems and demonstrated communication skills. The Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Quality and Consumer Safety team is a small statewide team providing safety and quality governance and support to Community Mental Health and Wellbeing services, such as Ambulance Tasmania, Oral Health Services Tasmania, Child Health and Parenting Service and Public Health. The team provides consult and advice on a range of quality and safety functions and process, such as incident & risk management, accreditation preparedness, consumer feedback and quality improvement.

Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. The position can be located statewide.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
$126,036 to $132,932 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
