Overview

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute significantly to the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for patients on the district nursing caseload. You will operate with a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan, embodying the core values of nursing care: compassion, competence, communication, courage, care, and commitment.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality, holistic, person-centred care to people of all ages in a variety of settings.
  • Carrying out a wide range of duties as delegated by a suitably registered practitioner.
  • Working without the direct supervision of a registered practitioner within your own limitations and a clear competency framework.
  • Remaining accountable to the appropriate registered practitioner and strictly adhering to all policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Learning and developing a wide range of competencies specific to the community healthcare setting.
Qualifications
  • You must have completed the Nurse Associate Foundation Degree.
  • You must be equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes, and behaviours relevant to employment as a Nurse Associate.
  • You must act in strict accordance with the NMC code of professional standards of practice and behaviours for Nursing Associates.
  • A commitment to collaborative working within a wider multidisciplinary team is essential.
