Job summary

WSP's Civil Nuclear team in the UK offers engineers the chance to work on major projects spanning the nuclear asset lifecycle, from new build to decommissioning. Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng/MICE) or working towards professional chartership.
• Experience delivering civil engineering projects across the nuclear asset lifecycle.
• Knowledge of design codes and standards including British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Experience in feasibility studies, optioneering and concept design.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and review civil engineering designs across the nuclear asset lifecycle.
• Develop civil engineering solutions for major nuclear infrastructure projects including site development and access infrastructure.
• Undertake feasibility studies, optioneering, and concept design activities.
• Coordinate interfaces within multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient solutions.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, calculations, and health and safety documentation.
• Support project planning, design coordination and delivery within programme and budget.
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders and delivery partners across nuclear and defence sectors.
