Job summary

WSP is a leading global engineering consultancy seeking a Chartered Civil Engineer to help deliver civil engineering designs across the nuclear asset lifecycle, from new build to decommissioning. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop safe, innovative solutions for major nuclear infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE) or working towards professional chartership.
• Experience delivering civil engineering projects throughout the nuclear asset lifecycle.
• Experience in design and delivery of civil engineering solutions (site development, earthworks, drainage, highways, utilities, reinforced concrete/steel).
• Knowledge of design codes and standards (British Standards, Eurocodes, nuclear-specific).
• Experience feasibility studies, optioneering, concept and detailed design.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering designs across the nuclear asset lifecycle.
• Develop civil solutions for major nuclear infrastructure projects.
• Undertake feasibility studies, optioneering, site assessments and concept design.
• Coordinate interfaces within multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.
• Assist integration of civil designs with other engineering requirements.
• Prepare and review technical reports and safety documentation.
