Job summary

A leading engineering company in the UK is seeking motivated Civil Structural Design Engineers at both entry and senior levels for a contract/permanent role. You will work on the design of nuclear powerplants, collaborating with various stakeholders to complete high-quality projects. Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree and experience in reinforced concrete design. This position offers salaries of £45-65ph or up to £60,000 pa with flexible working arrangements after probation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Working towards or recently Chartered status with ICE or IStructE preferred.
• Experience in structural design of nuclear structures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete structural design of new build nuclear structures.
• Coordinate and communicate complex engineering problems.
• Provide technical review and respond to site queries.

Skills

Proactive individual who can work collaboratively

Agile and self-motivated

Experience in reinforced concrete calculation and design

Experience working on major infrastructure projects

Familiarity with technical Codes of Practice and Industry Standards

Experience working in a highly regulated industry

Education
