Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a capable Construction Lead to drive the construction phase of data centre projects at client sites in the UK. You will act as the primary site representative, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-availability infrastructure on time and within budget.

The role requires a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, extensive construction management experience, and familiarity with CDM regulations. CIOB or PMP are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
• Familiarity with CDM regulations and environmental compliance.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CIOB, PMP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary site representative, liaising with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Lead and manage the construction phase of data centre projects to meet schedule, budget and quality requirements.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring safety compliance and quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors and multi-disciplinary activities across trades.
• Maintain procedures for shop drawings, submittals, RFIs and approvals.
