Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a major hyperscale data centre construction project in the Nordics. You will manage pre-construction, construction, and close-out activities, liaising with client teams and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires leadership of large multi-disciplinary teams, strong commercial and HSE oversight, and the ability to travel internationally (Nordics).

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of large-scale technical projects and construction techniques.
• Strong contractual and commercial knowledge across forms of contract.
• Proven track record delivering large critical infrastructure projects.
• Solid HSE leadership in construction environments.
• Ability to coordinate multiple technical disciplines on complex schemes.
• Experience interfacing with clients and managing stakeholders.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams.
• Exposure to data centre new build/refurbishment, preferably hyperscale.
• Ability to coordinate Owner’s Representatives across disciplines and align with client goals.
• Willingness to travel internationally for project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of hyperscale data centre construction from pre-construction through close-out.
• Lead Master Project Schedule and Budget development with client and GC teams.
• Procure and manage contractor-designed elements and owner-direct vendors.
• Maintain IMS, budget control, and schedule monitoring.
• Provide contractual support and drive value engineering during construction.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with strong HSE culture.
• Coordinate with client’s commercial team and PCG on budgeting and tracking.
