Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a seniorConstruction Manager to lead the construction phase of data centre projects, ensuring delivery to cost, time, and quality targets. You will act as the primary site representative coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver high-availability mission-critical infrastructure.

Role involves preconstruction planning, site logistics, safety compliance, and effective management of subcontractors and approvals while maintaining strong liaison with owners

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
• Familiarity with CDM regulations and environmental compliance.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CIOB, PMP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the construction phase of data centre projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver high-availability infrastructure.
• Manage site wide logistics, safety and quality compliance.
• Oversee subcontractors and coordinate construction activities across disciplines.
• Establish and maintain procedures for shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and approvals.
• Manage progress against schedule and budget, reporting deviations and mitigation actions.
• Raise early warnings for schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with partner teams for on-time delivery of Owner Furnished equipment.
• Ensure permits are obtained to meet the schedule.
