Job summary

A growing digital delivery partner is seeking a Non-Executive Advisor with extensive experience in UK policing and digital transformation. The role involves advising on strategic engagements with police ICT and Digital teams, supporting market approaches, and attending stakeholder meetings to enhance trust within the sector. This is a flexible advisory position requiring approximately 1-2 days per month. Ideal candidates will have held senior roles such as Head of ICT or Commercial Services within police forces.

Job description

SATIGO is expanding our work across UK Police forces following our recent appointment to the Northamptonshire Police ICT Framework and the Police Commercial Organisation’s ICT Lot 5 for digital delivery and specialist Statement of Work capability.

We are now looking to appoint a Non-Executive Advisor with strong experience in UK Policing, Blue Light ICT, Digital, Transformation, or Commercial Services to guide our growth in this sector.

About the Role

We are seeking a senior leader (current or former) from a UK Police force or national policing body who can :

• Provide strategic guidance on engaging Police ICT, Digital, Data and Transformation teams
• Support our go-to-market approach across Lot 5 and force-specific ICT frameworks
• Help us understand priorities, operating models, governance and digital agendas within policing
• Offer insight into best practice for procurement, commercial and delivery assurance
• Where appropriate, attend key stakeholder meetings to strengthen trust and credibility
• Connect us with relevant networks across policing and national bodies (NPCC, PDS, BLC etc.)

This is an advisory non-executive position , not an operational or full-time role.

Time Commitment

• Approx. 1–2 days per month (flexible)
• Monthly strategy session + ad-hoc advisory support

Ideal Background
