Job summary

Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent is hiring a Customer and Trading Manager – Nightshift to lead overnight replenishment, organise the warehouse and ensure shelves are stocked.

You will manage the full shift, supervise colleagues, and uphold safety and service standards, with a £4,500 premium on top of base salary and night hours from 22:00 to 08:00.

This permanent, full-time role requires leadership, resilience, and a customer-focused approach to deliver great store performance.

Qualifications

• Nightshift management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and manage warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store whilst getting stuck in yourself to prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
• Often, you get to run a full store operation on your own overnight being responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store
• Making sure that standards are brilliant come morning so we’re ready to serve our customers
• People management is a big part of the role, managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
