Sainsbury's Limited is seeking a Customer and Trading Manager for the nightshift at the East Grinstead store. You will lead overnight replenishment, oversee a small team, and be responsible for safe, efficient store operations until morning.

A strong emphasis on customer service and KPI delivery helps drive a high-quality shopping experience. The role is full-time, permanent, with a base salary from £31,700 plus a £4,500 premium for night shifts, reflecting the demanding hours and store size.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with nightshift working and its impact on team and operations.
• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Resilience to handle mental and physical demands of night shifts.
• Proven ability to coach a team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience delivering and monitoring KPIs or performance indicators.
• Ability to manage disciplinaries and employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team overnight to deliver replenishment across the store and manage deliveries.
• Take responsibility for full store operations during the night shift and ensure safety of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are brilliant so the store is ready to serve customers on opening.
• Oversee scheduling and pay, monitor performance, and manage staff development.
