Job summary

Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Reading is seeking a Customer and Trading Manager - Nightshift to lead overnight replenishment, run the store, and ensure morning readiness. You will manage a night team, oversee safety, coaching, and performance to deliver excellent service.

The role is full-time and permanent, based at Calcot Store, with a £4,500 premium on top of the from £33,000 salary, and night shifts from 22:00 to 08:00. Experience in night operations is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams overnight and maintain safety and standards.
• Experience delivering and monitoring KPIs and customer service metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight replenishment across the store and prioritise deliveries.
• Run full store operation overnight and ensure safety of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are ready for day shift and high service levels.
• Manage scheduling, performance and pay accurately.
