Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Portbury seeks a Class 1 driver to join our team. You will perform trunking and multi-drop deliveries, ensuring loads are secure and compliant with driving time regulations. The role requires English communication and lifting up to 18kg, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Basic hourly rate is £15.61 with a £55 weekly shift allowance, plus overtime after 39 hours at time and a half. A full-time on-site role with a supportive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a C+E driving licence with valid DigiTacho and CPC.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 18kg and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is legal and roadworthy; complete daily checks and report defects.
• Load correct goods and ensure secure loading before movement.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in line with regulations and timings.
• Obtain signatures and paperwork after deliveries and return to depot.
