Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver for our Heywood depot. You will perform trunking and multi-drop deliveries, conduct daily vehicle checks, and ensure loads are secure and compliant with drivers hours regulations.

Shift available: Monday to Friday nights; rate includes £16.03/hour up to 39 hours and £55 weekly night shift allowance, with overtime after 39 hours paid at time and a half. Competitive benefits and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence.
• DigiTacho in date.
• CPC qualification.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times and report defects.
• Ensure goods loaded are correct and secure before moving.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in line with drivers working time regulations.
• Obtain signatures and paperwork from customers and return to the depot.
