Job summary

Lineage Logistics at the Hams Hall depot is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver to support customer demand. Shift: Monday to Friday Nights. Rate of pay: £16.54 per hour, plus a £55 weekly shift allowance, paid weekly.

Overtime after 39 hours is paid at time and a half. Duties include daily vehicle checks, loading verification, trunking and multi‑drop deliveries, compliant with drivers’ hours regulations, and obtaining customer signatures.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence, a valid in date DigiTacho and CPC.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Able to lift up to 18kg.
• Clear English communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law.
• Ensure vehicle checks are completed and defects reported.
• Verify correct goods are loaded and secured before moving the vehicle.
• Obtain signatures and paperwork from customers before returning to depot.
