Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Portbury is seeking a Class 1 HGV driver for night shifts (16:00–19:00). The role includes trunking and multi-drop deliveries, ensuring loads are secure and paperwork is completed, with full compliance to drivers hours regulations.

Basic pay is £15.61 per hour plus a £55 per week night shift allowance. Overtime after 39 hours is paid at time and a half. A valid DigiTacho and CPC are required, along with a C+E licence and prior Class 1 experience.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence, valid DigiTacho and CPC.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Must communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is legal and roadworthy; complete daily checks and report defects.
• Verify correct goods loaded and secured before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely and compliant manner; adhere to drivers hours regulations.
• Double check deliveries with customers and obtain signatures before returning to depot.
