Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Portbury is recruiting for a Class 1 driver on a 4 on 4 off schedule. You will perform trunking and multi‑drop deliveries, ensure loads are secure and compliant, and complete daily vehicle checks to maintain roadworthiness.

The role requires a C+E licence with DigiTacho and CPC, English communication, and the ability to lift up to 18kg. Overtime after 39 hours is paid at time and a half, with on-site parking and family-friendly benefits.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence, DigiTacho in date and CPC.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 18kg.
• Clear English communication with the team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times; complete daily checks and report defects.
• Load correct goods and secure before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries and comply with driving time regulations.
• Double check deliveries with the customer and provide a polite, helpful experience.
• Obtain signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot.
