Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Hams Hall depot to cover Monday–Friday night shifts. You will be paid £16.54 per hour plus a £55 weekly shift allowance, with overtime after 39 hours at time and a half. Duties include daily vehicle checks, secure loading, trunking and multi-drop deliveries, and collecting customer signatures.

We require a C+E licence, valid DigiTacho and CPC, plus prior Class 1 experience. The role offers on-site parking and employee support resources.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence, DigiTacho valid, CPC required.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 18 kg.
• Must communicate clearly in English with the team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times; complete daily checks.
• Load correct goods and secure them before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely, legal manner.
• Obtain signatures and paperwork from customers before returning to depot.
