Lineage Logistics in Portbury is seeking a Class 1 driver for night shifts (Mon-Fri, 16:00-19:00 starts) with no tramping. Average around 50 hours per week. Basic hourly rate £15.61 plus £55 weekly night shift allowance. Overtime paid at time and a half for hours over 39 weekly.

Duties include trunking, multi-drop deliveries, and ensuring loads are secure. Applicants must have a C+E licence, DigiTacho, and CPC, with previous Class 1 experience. English communication is required.

Aufgaben

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - complete daily checks and report defects.
• Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations).
• Double check deliveries with the customer, obtain signatures and paperwork before returning to the home depot.
