Job summary

Blue Triangle (Glasgow) Housing Association is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Oban service. You will join a team delivering safe, supported accommodation for homeless individuals, providing practical and emotional support to help people meet personal outcomes.

This 35-hour per week, permanent role requires empathy, reliability and a commitment to safeguarding. We offer development opportunities, a strong values-driven environment and a range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience working with vulnerable people or similar channnel (voluntary/professional).
• Commitment to care practice per SSSC code and National Care Standards.
• Ability to relate empathetically and support independence.
• Flexible and capable of lone working.
• Proficiency with Microsoft or equivalent applications.
• Willingness to work towards SVQ3.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide safe, secure accommodation for homeless people.
• Support and monitor people to achieve positive, person-centred outcomes.
• Maintain and update recording systems and documents per policy; manage occupancy records.
• Plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews.
• Provide advocacy and guidance to help clients meet occupancy conditions.
