Job summary

The Witherslack Group is seeking a Night Support Worker for our Coventry Children’s Homes. You will support young people during the night, help with routines, and build trust to create a safe and hopeful environment.

No prior experience is required, and we offer a Level 3 Diploma development path with a 4-week induction, plus opportunities for progression and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is supported if not held.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with young people in care.
• Willingness to work waking nights on a 4-on/4-off rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide nightly support to children in care and address needs during the night.
• Support with paperwork, cleaning and laundry during quieter periods.
• Foster a safe, caring environment and develop positive relationships.
